Trying out the new Phoenix Light Rail Train- 10/22/09:
We parked our car at the 38th Street/Washington Park & Ride lot, and rode the train to downtown Phoenix. Got off at the Central/Roosevelt stop and then walked a little through a historic neighborhood of Phoenix to Cibo, where we enjoyed some wine and delicious pizza. For dessert, we ordered crepes, which we devoured within seconds (thanks to Ian). After dinner, we walked back to the Central/Van Buren stop and hopped back on the train to head back to our car. It was so fun!
And today, I made pancakes and bacon for breakfast, and then we headed to Schnepf Farms.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch, rode some rides, bought a pumpkin, walked through some mud (not the smartest move of the day), and bought a homemade apple pie to enjoy this evening.
Ava went down this slide about 10 times!
And even though it's still hotter than hell here, I think it's starting to fell a little like Fall.And after a long day walking around, we're always happy to return home to see this:
