Last Wednesday (the night before Thanksgiving), we were invited to attend the kick-off party for a new holiday lights event called
St. Nicks Lights in Scottsdale. It was a great way to get into the holiday spirit, and Ava got a chance to have a pretty lengthy discussion with Santa, without having to wait in line or be hurried along. What did Ava ask for? A pony and a computer!
They had some pretty incredible light displays, like this pirate ship:
And this dinosaur:
And they transformed what was a minature golf path into a wonderful light display.
And they have a little train ride too!
If you're in Scottsdale area, you should definitely check it out!

This was destroyed the other night in the wind storm. They had to close down and hire welders & other people to come out to get it fixed. Hope they are able to recover.
